    The successful candidate will provide direct support for all Claim Operations activities in accordance with Company and Claim Operations standards, processes and workflows including, but not limited to:

    • Obtaining new loss information from Insureds and Claimants
    • Preparing correspondence and other documents to Insureds, Claimants and others for review by others
    • Issuing approved payments
    • Correctly identifying and processing incoming mail and documents including new reported losses, suits and other items requiring special attention
    • Creating records of new reported losses in Company mainframe, Claim Information System (CIS) and ImageRight
    • Responding to telephone calls received in Claim Operations Contact Center from Agents, Claimants, Insureds and others
    • Work with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED and additional vocational courses
    • 2-3 years related work experience
    • Basic math
    • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
    • Superior oral and written communication
    • Superior English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure
    • Positive and effective customer service
    • Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Quick learner
