We have an immediate opening for an Underwriting Specialist in our Annuity/Structured Settlement Department. This individual will be responsible for providing specialized support to the life insurance companies’ annuity operations and the structured settlement operation, which includes communication with annuitants, claimants/payees, attorneys, brokers and company personnel, performing legal document review, application and contract review, and recording and reviewing information in Department software. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Basic math
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Work with detail with accuracy
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Meet deadlines
• Organize time and resources and handle multiple high priorities

Preferred Knowledge:

• Insurance and estate terminology
• 1-2 years related work experience
