We have an immediate opening for a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for the management, operations, development and design of the use of computer technology, software (information systems) and business processes in various operations oriented units (such as Cancellations, Claim Operations, Client Services, Direct Bill, Finance, Issuance, Retail Operations, Underwriting, etc.).

 

Other duties include:

- Directing and working with business analysts and other employees to analyze information systems needs

- Developing and deploying effective and efficient usage of business processes and technology, including hardware and software, to meet the individual business unit’s requirements for analyzing, collecting, manipulating, processing, reporting, retrieving, storing and utilizing data related to insurance activities

- Serving as senior project manager on complex projects and acting as primary senior liaison between individual business units and Company information/technology units

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent

3-5 years related work experience including programming, database development, business process analysis and project management

Personal computer and related spreadsheet and data manipulation software

Knowledge of technology testing methods and procedures

Principles of process analysis and project management; project management accreditation preferred

Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of the organization and individuals outside the organization

Project management skills

Design and use of computer programs to analyze data

Advanced problem solving skills
